My new love in life....

Thanks to my wonderful friend Sarah Rose, I have found something new that I love. Due to Sarah and her boyfriend moving she had to lighten her load of things. She gave me a ton of beautiful plants. I've always believed that I would kill every plant that came my way because of childhood memories of killing a fern. But after educating myself on houseplant care and my wonderful boyfriend buying me a book on how to care for plants. I have actually nursed some of them back from looking pretty bad. Here are some pictures.

They are all very easy to take care of and I have alot of joy in taking care of them.

Long time, no post...

Well, it has been way to long since my last post.  I have been very busy, Morghana has been quit a handful the past couple of months. Some new behavioral issues, temper tantrums and anger problems.

   I believe some of it has to do with Nate going back to work and his work schedule being kinda off. He goes back and forth from days to nights. When he works nights we hardly see him, which is really hard for Morghana. If anyone has any advice on how to deal with anger and hitting that would be awesome!

This is an insult and a punch in the face to all AMERICANS!

Easy and cheap recipes.....

I look everywhere and all the times for great and yummy cheap dinner idea's. Here are some that I have found.

Mom's basic meatloaf

Ingredients:

•1 pound lean ground beef


•2/3 cup milk


•1/2 cup cracker crumbs


•1/4 cup ketchup


•1/2 cup finely chopped onion


•1 teaspoon salt


•1/8 teaspoon black pepper


•1 egg, beaten


Preparation:


Mix all ingredients together gently. Form into a loaf and place in baking dish or loaf pan. Top with more ketchup if desired. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.


Serves 4.

Asian Beef & Noodles



1-1/4lbs ground beef

2c frozen veggies

1/4tsp ground ginger

2Tbsp thinly sliced green onion




Brown ground beef in lg nonstick skillet over med heat 8-10 min or until beef is not pink. Remove beef; season with contents of 1 packet from ramen noodles. Poor off drippings. Combine noodles, veggies, ginger, remaining seasoning and 2c of water in skillet bring to boil. Reduce heat;simmer, cover, 3min or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in beef, heat through. Add green onion.

Welcome the newest member of my family......

Hi there everyone, just thought I would say a few words today. As you can see I got a new kitty for my birthday. She is absolutly adorable. I got her off craigs list, when I picked her up she was obviously very sick. She had fleas. worms and scabs from scratching so much. So Nate, Morghana and I went to petco and got some things for her.

I gave her a bath a little after we got home with her, to try and ease the irritation of the fleas. Then the next day my mom brought over some dewormer. Then she hide for a day, we have had her since April,8th and she has adjusted great. She plays with Morghana, sleeps either on Nate and I's bed or under it. She is a great kitten, she is only 3 1/2 months old. I am very happy that I got her out of the house she was living in, the people that I got her from didn't know how to take care of a kitten.

She is a lover of a cat. And I have a wonderful boyfriend for giving me this awesome birthday gift.

Hi there everyone..

I hope everyone is having a great weekend?!

I know I have and so has Morghana.

She left our house Thursday, and came home today. She went to Zoe's house(Colin's ex-wife).I am so very happy that Zoe and I can get passed the things that happend in the past so that our children can know and love one another.

Remodeling my blog, and more....

Well if anyone has noticed I am remodeling my blog, trying out different templates and such. I am not HTML or XML savvy, so I think this will be a learning experience.  If anyone has any kind of advice that would be awesome! I think I need to take some computer classes. Because I am going to need it, all these codes and stuff are confusing.

Tiny Morghana....

Hi everyone, it has been along time since I wrote anything on here. My mom sent me some pictures of Morghana when she was a month old and it was her first swim. I am SO glad she had them because I lost all of them on my old computer, I was so upset because I never put them on a disc. Anyways, things here are okay. Nate lost his job, so he is looking for work. It's hard though no one is really hiring, the unemployment rate here in Oregon is something like 10.7 percent.

V-day surprise.........

Happy Valentines Day!

Mine came early, Nate and Morghana went to the store last night and came back with 3 cards, teddy bear and my fav flower stargazer lillies. I put up pictures of the cards and the flowers but not the teddy bear. Morghana picked out the dog card all by herself, it says "Ruff "on the front and then the inside sais "thats how it would be without a mommy like you."
